Under de emerging sector of the wind power and the ramping up of this one, the company Mekatar was established in 2004 and is growing in an impressive way supported in the trust of the clients according to the highest contribution in process quality, and product specialization.
The high demand of some of our main clients, required the necessity to establish a new production plant in Spain and the duty to manufacture parts locally.
At the moment we are working in a 1.250 square meters rented area, but we have started to build a 4.000 square meters new factory sited in an industrial area at the north of Spain (Euskadi), in the village of Zumaia. Is expected to start activities in this new plan at the end of 2006.
In this factory we will produce mainly big machined pieces and we’ll be also able to complete our offer with some metal forming activities (cutting, welding, bending, etc.).
